Took the King's shilling, but the body was willing,
But not playing with a full deck.
The dead man eyes a giveaway,
Those baby blues a thousand miles away...
He wanted death, but his last breath,
They sentenced him to life.
Anarchy, and girls' bodies,
Epiphany for life...
NICE DREAM.
Gotta love the Blueblack Hussar. Playing the fool? I think not.
He refused to be put in the bin. He refused to be pointed at and ridiculed.
He raised the flag, and prudence be dayumned...
Anyhoo, saw World War Z last night. I'm giving this a solid A. It was so fast paced, with barely a few breathers in there to get your bearings. I guess either the critics are complete hater douchebags, or those reshoots they did really paid off. Also, the comparisons, or even outright accusations, to 28 Days Later are so off the mark. These are zombies, folks. They do NOT die without a headwound of some sort. The makeup/CG on them was also top notch. The teeth chatterer was soooooooooooo boner inducing...
I saw Man of Steel last week. I also liked it, though not as much as the originals. Sorry, but Terence Stamp was/is the man. The new guy was just lacking, as were his criminal cohorts. There was absolutely nothing jovial about this one. Whereas the other had its slapsticky moments, this was more bleak.
Still, well worth watching. I also give it an A.
A day before that, we watched This Is the End. I'm giving this a huge A+.
Meta-whatever...
I loved it, and everyone brought their A game to this gem. I'm going to say I knew Danny McBride would be my fave, as he always is. Jay was adorable, as usual. Craig Robinson, Jonah Hill, mein main man Seth Rogen, all of them, did great. James Franco's rejection into Heaven was the best.
Go see this. Get superhigh. Heck, do them both at the same time...
WTF are you waiting for?!?
